Every August since 2003 I have taken part in Paint the Town, at Annapolis Royal, NS, it is a fund raiser
for the Annapolis Region Arts Council.
Windows 7 has a mind of its own. I came in here to post more paintings..the table stretched..........I have no idea how
to fix it...scroll around to see some paintings.

I paint down by the dock. And paint the boat in drydock. Sometimes I paint the same boat over and over, at least 3 times
in the morning. The paintings are always different, each one has a life of its own.
I love it. Many people stop by to chat. I can paint and chat. If I run into a problem with the painting, I ask
the person standing by me, what would you do? and then I do it even if I think it wont work..but it usually does. It's
all about choices, some of them good, some of them bad. They often name my paintings for me. They say I make it look easy.
I said it is. Yes, they want lessons. I suggest they go to the corner art store and get a canvas and paints and paint along
side of me. I'll throw suggestions to them..and give them some tips and tricks. It is a big scene in front
of you; you have to choose what you want to paint. Nobody has taken me up on the offer yet. It is not about talent,
it is about being courageous.
During paint the town it is not unusual for me to paint a dozen paintings on site during the 2 day weekend,
held around the 3rd week of August at Annapolis Royal, NS. All my canvases are primed at home with a base color
of any color..and each canvas a different color. So I am ready to swing into action once I get on site.

I called them the Sat. Morning Market Queens. They come to the Market with their parents every Sat. morn. They left
before I finished the painting, I was memorizing them, their clothes etc while I painted.
