I create and do stuff, highly imaginative and eccentric, "they say" and I work in all mediums and create one of kind items from junk and with whatever happens to be in my path.
My oil pastel works are full of energy & movement.  The works are beautiful, magical, mysterious, simplistic, ugly, humorous,  terrifying, erotic, it all shows up on the paper. I call the works my life in pictures.  I have thousands and thousands of oil pastel works as doing them  became a daily ritual..I saved them all.   Due to storage space I have been reworking some of the collection. During the last few years I have been working in acrylics.

At the age of 9, I drew my first nudes; I got a strapping for doing a bad drawing; the teacher thought it was immoral; I thought I couldn't draw.
My mother taught me rug hooking with cut wool strips. From my parents I learned to love and appreciate nature.
During the summer months I spent endless hours twirling around on my swing and in the winter I skated on a small patch of ice in the swamp. During these times of aloneness my imagination soared. Now I am retired and at play again.
When visiting my studio, ask to read my first book, called, "My First Book".   It has over 60 mini works along with some unusal  comments.
To see my art click on the various galleries above, also there is some art on the Lake News site, just a click away, see above.
